Citing Electronic Resources

How to cite a web site

You need the following information:

  1. Author (if given).
  2. “Web Page” or “Article Title” followed by Web Site Title.
  3. Date of electronic publication, revision, or date of posting.
  4. Name of institution/organization affiliated with the site.
  5. Date of research (today’s date) ex.: 13 Sept. 2004
  6. Web address ex: <http://pbs.org>

Or (Article or page from a web site)
