Salem Middle School planners/agendas will be available for sale ($5.00) on “Meet Your Teacher” night. This will be the place where we get organized and write in daily assignments. The items below will be needed to help you prepare and organize materials in each class. We also have a suggested list of items to keep in your study area at home, so if you are working on projects or homework, you will have everything you need. We look forward to a great year with you!

TRACK 1 - 6th Grade

Here is a list of the supplies that students will need in order to be successful during the upcoming school year. Please do your best to purchase them for your child before school begins.

We recommend that you keep all receipts and leave all tags on your purchases (especially book bags) until after arriving at school. That way, if a purchase doesn't quite suite your child's needs, you can easily return your merchandise. Each child will need to purchase a student planner/agenda, which will be available in the front office. Please be aware that most of the supplies listed may need to be replenished throughout the school year.

Option 1

Purchase four 1-inch three-ring binders, color-coded for the core classes (example: blue for math, red for language arts, white for science, and black for social studies).

Purchase two 2-inch three-ring binders, color-coded for the core classes (example: blue notebook for courses before lunch, and a red notebook for courses after lunch).

Purchase one 3-inch D-ring binder to use for all classes with section dividers to separate materials for each class.
